According to the American Mosquito Control Association, you can cut down on mosquito bites:
  • Stay indoors at dusk and dawn when mosquitoes are most active.
  • Don’t go out during a full moon. Mosquitoes are five times more active during a full moon.
  • Wear light color clothing. Mosquitoes bite people in black more often.
  • Don’t move around so much when the bugs attack. Mosquitoes are 50 percent more likely to bite people who are fidgety or exercising.
  • Keep your feet clean. Mosquitoes are attracted to dirty, smelly feet.
