Foods for Sex Power

This article describes some of the important foods which help sex power.

We eat food every day to fulfill our need of energy in order to cope with our daily routines. Food is the fuel of our life machine and we have fill it everyday. Along with nourishing other body organs and systems, food also maintains our sexual functions. Fluctuation in sexual hormones happen to occur due to changes sexual hormones. Hormones are produced in response to what we get into our body everyday. So better and balanced diet promises better and enhanced sex power and libido. Many nutrients work to regulate our sexual and reproductive hormones and some of them even help protect against abnormal conditions such as infections.

Certain foods are very important for sex power. Even the lack of some nutrients or elements leads to infertility or other sexual problems. Regarding what we have to eat for our sex power, balanced diet is of an essential importance. Balanced diet provides the body with all the essential nutrients and elements including carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins and important elements. Optimum levels of hormones can easily be controlled by the balanced diet. A lot of foods are there which are helpful for men’s sexual power. I am going to mention some of these food here in this article.

Vitamins:

When we talk about sex power vitamin, A, B, C and E rank high.

Vitamin A offers healthy epithelial tissues to the reproduction organs which are helpful for sexual life. Many foods like carrots, butter, liver and eggs are rich in vitamin A. Vitamin B and Folic acid are essential for fertility. Deficiencies of these components in the food lead to infertility. Therefore, pregnant women are advised to take foods rich in vitamin B and Folic acids, and even they are also given synthetic vitamins during pregnancy. Pulses and beans, fish, peanuts and bananas are rich in vitamin B. Most of the fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamin C. Vitamin C prevents the clumping of sperms by preventing their agglutination. Vitamin E works as an antioxidant and protects the ovum.

Elements:

Zinc, selenium, manganese play an important role to boost libido and sex power. All these elements help fertility in both men and women. Oysters, red meat, green leafy vegetables and rice are rich in zinc. Selenium is abundant in meat, offal and brown rice. Manganese controls the mechanism of estrogen hormone and its deficiency causes infertility. It is found abundant in foods like chestnuts, wholegrain cereals, pineapple and beans.

Fatty Acids:

Essential fatty acids like Linoleic acid play an important role in sperm health. These fatty acids are rich in sunflower, different vegetables and many other dry fruits.

Antioxidants:

Antioxidants protect our body against the harmful substances which cause damage to reproductive system. Fruits and vegetables are rich source of anti-oxidants.

Male enhancement products or formulas prepared for erectile dysfunction or decreased libido contain large amounts of supplements extracted from these foods. So eat healthy balanced diet or food and enjoy your powerful healthy sexual life.
