Since its inception in 2006, Four Rivers has teamed with law enforcement, the judicial system and many other agencies to address the problem of addiction—one of the most pervasive and destructive forces in our culture today. We need your help to continue the work. We are grateful for the strong support of the community in the past and ask that you join with us again this year.
Larry Gatlin keynote speaker was born in 1948 in Seminole, Texas. He was performing with his brothers by the age of seven. After graduating from Odessa High School in 1966, he attended the University of Houston on a football scholarship. Gatlin's music career has spanned decades and featured hits including, "Broken Lady", "All the Gold in California", "Houston (Means I'm One Day Closer To you)" and many, many more.
His success is not limited to the country music stage. He has starred on Broadway, in television and film. Gatlin co-wrote a memoir, All the Gold in California, which was published in 1998. Since 2010, he has appeared on the Fox News Channel and Fox Business Network as a political and social commentator.
In the midst of great triumphs and success, Gatlin experienced deep personal struggles. He will inspire us with the story of his incredible life -- his rise to fame, his struggle with alcohol and drug addiction and how he emerged clean and sober with the help of friends and by the grace of God.
Country music superstar, Randy Travis, will perform! With record sales over 25 million, 22 number one hits, six number one albums and numerous awards from every music association, Travis has made an indelible mark on the music industry. Four Rivers is beyond grateful for his generous gift of music to support this ministry. It promises to be an exciting and entertaining evening.
